           Ayutthaya city is like an island at the joining of 3 main rivers of central region: the Chao Phraya river, the Lopburi river and Pa sak river. The Railway station is at the East side off the island, then you’ll cross the river by ferry boat. How to go to Ayutthaya from Bangkok?

            Just walk straight to the box office. The local train ticket price starts around 20 baht – 60 baht depending on the types of seat that available at that time. Trains from BKK usually take about an hour and a half to arrive at the Ayutthaya Railway station. The Ayutthaya railway station is not in the center of town but you can take an a local ferry to cross the river. From here, let’s grab a bike from the rental shops near the pier.
Tips: We suggest the train that departs from Bangkok at least before 7 a.m. so you’ll arrive there about 8.30 a.m. It’s a perfect time to start your journey in Ayutthaya Historical city.
